Have you ever wondered, “What happens when the last breath leaves a person?” Do they go to heaven, hell or no place at all? It seems so confusing because of the varied beliefs. Catholics say: “Your immortal soul leaves the body and goes to heaven, hell or purgatory depending on whether you’ve been good, bad or somewhat bad.” Most Protestants say: “Your immortal soul goes directly to heaven upon death.” Eastern religions say: “Your immortal soul is reincarnated as someone or something else.” Atheists say: “Death is the end of you, because you only live once.” And we can’t forget the common held belief of society that says that the dead interact with the living; coming back as ghost, zombies or vampires.  But there is another group; a small group of Bible-reading Christians that say: “Death is merely a sleep until the  resurrection at the Second Coming of Christ.”  What really is the truth and where can we find it? The Bibles gives unshakeable answers to  these questions and more. Let’s study them now together.
