Have you ever wondered where the devil came from? Did God create him, since He is the creator of all things? Will the Devil live forever in hell, reigning as king? Let’s find out together.
“How art thou fallen from ________, O Lucifer, son of the morning!” Isaiah 14:12.
“For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High” Isaiah 14:13, 14.
“Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, ____ iniquity was found in thee” Ezekiel 28:15.
God doesn’t take away our freedom of choice. Even the Lucifer, the cover cherub had to choose who He would serve. Lucifer decided that He would choose not to obey God. In essence, Lucifer made a devil out of himself by choosing to oppose what was the perfect will of God. This choice is given to us to day. We must choose where we will follow God or not. If we choose not to follow Him, like Lucifer, we are making devils out of ourselves.
“And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven.” “He was cast out into the earth, and his _______ were cast out with him.” (Rev. 12:4, 9).
“So that he as God sitteth in the ________ of God, shewing himself that he is God.” “Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness.” (2 Thess. 2:4; 2 Cor. 11:15).
“Then the devil taketh him [Jesus] up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is _________, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee” Matt. 4:5, 6.
“And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the _________ of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ” Rev. 12:17.
“_________ yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.” “Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil” James 4:7,8; Eph. 6:11.
“All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and ______ shalt thou ___ any more” Ezekiel 28:19.
“What do ye imagine against the LORD? He will make an utter end: affliction ______ ____ rise up the second time” Nahum 1:9.
“Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ________ upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee” Ezekiel 28:18.
Although Satan can tempt, batter, assault, depress and even kill, Jesus has already defeated him and victory is sure. Praise God. (see on Heb. 2:14, 1 Cor. 15:57; 2 Cor. 2:14).
